Recent History of Burkina Faso
Burkina Faso (Man, I love saying its name!) was colonized by France long enough to make French the country’s official language!
After that, they had a lot of struggling and corruption in their government that made people say, “Enough is enough” and protest in the streets against their former president who was extending his 27 years of ruling the country for a few more years!
They had a democratic election and since then people are trying to move on towards democracy but it would probably take a while, just like every other nation throughout history!
