Traveling is one of the best pleasures this life has to offer! Traditionally, people traveled in groups the whole history, not because they enjoyed each other’s company all the time, but because traveling alone was almost equal to insanity! I mean, they got stuck in deserts and jungles for days and it took them a few days to get somewhere that’s accessible by a short flight now!
But the world around us has changed since then, just like the norms! A few years ago, it was more expensive to book a cruise ship tour for a solo traveler, or even eating alone at a restaurant. But it’s all changing fast now! If you’re suffering from a breakup, mourning for a loved one, or simply like to have some time to yourself, it’s the best to take a solo trip which is what we’re going to talk about in this post, 10 amazing solo vacations to take right now! Let’s get right into it, ready?

Visit amazing places like Carrauntoohil—the tallest mountain in the country, Killarney National Park, the quartzite Maumturks mountain range of Connemara, and the ancient Glendalough monastery and go to the first pub you see whenever you need to eat and mingle with locals.
It doesn’t make sense to you now, but “Lang may yer lum reek” means “Long may your chimney smoke”. (It’s the most famous Irish phrase that locals love)

Number 1 and 2 have me thinking 🤔- although all of these are good ideas, it’s more important now to stay safe. Hope we can travel again freely soon.

You’re pulling at my heartstrings.. You almost had me booking… but at least I know where I’m going.. ❤️🤗 Cindy
Glad to hear that!
Which one did you choose?
Thailand has been next on my list for awhile but now I think it will need to be a remote island. lol
My Mum, grandmother and aunts have all spent a summer in Ireland! They also recommend cycling there too. I’m the only one who hasn’t done this, but I know I should. It’s kind of like my birth rite to do this someday, because I have Irish ancestry that my grandmother never let her kids and grandkids forget! Kind of like how Muslims do a pilgrimage to Mecca
Wow! That’s an amazing tradition! I wish my grandmother did the same!
When are you planning to do it?
Hopefully when the pandemic is over
