10 reasons to visit Thailand – Number 3 is our favorite

Thailand is an awesome country with lots of attractions to visit. In fact, Thailand is the 9th most visited country in the world with more than 38 million visitors each year. This number didn’t get attained by chance, there are tons of good reasons behind why Thailand is constantly among the most visited countries in the world.

In this post, we’re going to talk about 10 reasons why you should visit Thailand at least once in your lifetime.

1- Thailand is affordable

Thailand is surprisingly affordable. Booking a hotel in Bangkok or any other Thai city would remind you of prices in the 70s (If you remember them!). Thai food is even cheaper, especially if you are open to street food. You can enjoy a clean bed and good food for a fraction of what you spend at home! Your hard-earned money goes a long way in Thailand!

2- The weather

Thailand is blessed with great weather year-round. The weather is usually warm and sunny, no matter when you visit. Basically, the weather in Thailand is cool, hot, and rainy!

3- The beaches

Thailand is blessed with stunning beaches with white sand and crystal clear water. Plus, there’s a beach for every taste in Thailand, from the crowded ones where people are partying all night to the ones where there’s no other person, but you! Phuket beaches are the most popular ones in Thailand if you are into the crowded ones.

4- Thai food

If you’ve only tried Thai food at a restaurant in the US, then you’re in for a pleasant surprise, as the food in Thailand is so inexpensive, with far more variety. You have tons of options in noodles, snacks, fried chicken, and of course Thai curry.

5- Shopping

If you are into the bargain, crowded and loud places, then Thailand markets are calling you! And if you’re into shopping from a fancy mall, Thailand wouldn’t disappoint you as this country is home to some of the most luxurious shopping malls in the world.

6- Easy access

Once you arrive in Thailand, getting around would only be a matter of spending a few dollars for a cheap domestic flight! The flight prices in Thailand are too cheap that you can’t believe your eyes, thanks to airlines such as Nok Air, AirAsia, and Bangkok Airways.

7- Awesome cities

Thailand has any kind of city you may like, from a modern mega city such as Bangkok and Chiang Mai to quiet and chill countrysides in the center of Northern Thailand which would offer you silence, good food, and cultural experiences.

8- Friendly locals

They call Thailand, “The country of smiles” for a good reason, as people are constantly smiling in this country. Although you might still witness tourist scammers and unfriendly people like anywhere else in the world, the vast majority of Thai people are always smiling at you!

9- Beautiful Buddhist temples

Buddhism is the dominant religion in Thailand. This religion has influenced everything in Thailand from the architecture to the way people interact with one another. The Buddhist temples in Thailand are so gorgeous you can’t believe they’re real.

10- Nightlife

Where ever you travel to in Thailand, bars and generally nightlife (which made this country so famous and popular) are too close to you. And by the bar, we don’t mean only go-go bars, they have discos, nightclubs, and regular bars as we know them too!
