I knew a number of people in England who would travel overseas and fill up their suitcases with stuff that was cheap compared to England. They would take advantage of prices in all the European countries you mentioned and Thailand as well! Heck, even getting stuff in New York was cheaper than London! Goes to show how exchange rates, plus cost of living make bartering lucrative!
Wow! I thought London was just expensive because I have Canadian dollar. Never would’ve thought it was expensive even for themselves! Lol! I feel like an idiot today!
