Top 10 Reasons To Go To Europe right now

Europe is known to all of us in some ways but a lot of people in North America rarely step in Europe! Well… You’re missing a lot!

In this post, we’ll give you the top 10 reasons to go to Europe!

1-History

History is the main reason why you should visit Europe, at least once! Maybe in North American countries of the United States, Canada, and Mexico, you can find different climates and enough fun, but what North America lacks in, is having history!

What is the oldest building in the US? Not more than 400 years I bet! As we’re speaking, some buildings in Europe are about 400 years and people still live in them now!

Everywhere in Europe, you turn your head to, you’ll see history! Europe is heaven for old castles, buildings, and churches! There is Napoleonic history in France, the Roman empire in Italy, Vikings in Scandinavia, and several empires in the Balkans, just to name a few!

A Dutch friend of mine always says, “If someone wakes up from the dead in today’s Germany, he still knows the whole city since nothing’s changed!” and that’s true!

Walking in European streets feels like time traveling to the past!

2- Architecture

European architecture is fabulous, You’ll see different types of architectures in Europe. Even by looking at the buildings in one street, you can say each one belongs to a different time by its unique architecture.

3- Unique cities

Each European city has its own unique culture, cuisine, and architecture. London, Paris, Berlin, and Amsterdam are only a few to mention!

4- European Relationships!

Since Europe is a romantic continent, a lot of travelers who’d been there, fell in love and some never even came back to their home country! How can you not fall in love with your other half when walking in Amsterdam’s streets or beside the Danube River?

5- Football (not soccer)

It doesn’t matter if you are a football master or can’t recognize Lionel Messi and Christiano Ronaldo from each other! If you have a chance to be in Europe, you should buy a football game ticket, especially in Spain, the UK, or Germany! The atmosphere in a European football stadium is so exciting that you can’t help it but have a great time!

6- European cuisine

whether you are vegan, vegetarian, or a meat lover, Europe has such fantastic cuisine to make you go like, “Wow!” after each meal!

The best thing about European cuisine is that your options are endless! Eat the best Pizza and pasta of your life in Italy, drink the fabulous Moldovan wine, and the chocolate to fly your soul within Belgium!

7- Accessibility

Maybe your flight from North American countries or Oceania be more than 11 hours long, but once you land in a country in Europe, reaching other European countries is as easy as a fast train, a very cheap short flight, or a delightful car ride.

Europe is the most accessible continent in the world, and since most European countries are small compared to North America, Oceania, or some Asian countries, it doesn’t take long to reach another country in a few hours!

A lot of people in Europe live in a country and work in another country! The first time I heard my friend’s cousin lives in the Netherlands and drives to Germany for work every day, I just couldn’t digest it!

8- European nightlife

If there’s one thing Europeans are the best at, it would be partying! At nights, you can enjoy the underground music scenes, party islands, and thriving nightclubs and I’m not talking about Amsterdam at all!

9- Islands and beaches

Europe is home to the best islands and seaside cities such as Santorini in Greece, Dubrovnik in Croatia, or Miami beach in Montenegro! Europe is home to the magical black sea, the Mediterranean sea, and the Tyrrhenian Sea. Everywhere you go, you can book hotels in Europe with beach access for cheap! (not talking about all-inclusive hotels in Spain!!)

10- The Balkans

The Balkans region’s countries are the most underrated countries in Europe. Hidden gems like MontenegroSlovakia, and Albania are yet to be found by adventurous travelers like you!

  1. A absolutely agree with you….since I live in Europe….”….and thriving nightclubs and I’m not talking about Amsterdam at all!”…I find it hilarious

  2. Fascinating post. I absolutely agree with your ideas. Yes you’re right. I too have visited some of the countries in Europe. And admired their architecture. Awesome.
    👏👏👏👏👏✌💐

  3. Europe would blow my mind “history” wise!! I can’t even imagine!!

And actually … New Mexico has some really old incredible homes. The Taos Pueblo, is a group of ancient homes and ceremonial buildings that were built by Native American tribe of Puebloan people. Some still inhabit the Taos Pueblo, the main part of the existing structures was built between 1000 AD and 1450 AD!! 😮

New Mexico has a treasure of places like that… but if we are talking settlers …

That would be the Fairbanks House in Dedham, Massachusetts (❤️✌️) … built around 1637-1641 by Puritan settler Jonathan Fairbanks.

The house stayed in the family for 8 generations and when the last one who actually lived in the house died in 1904 – other family members set up a trust in the families name to preserve the house for future generations

Has never left that family!! 😮 it is now open to the public

    – New Mexico takes the cake for the United States with their adobe houses ❤️ which are ALL just incredible!!!

Sorry have a history thing ✌️

But Europe has incredible architecture!! It takes my breath away in pictures – I can only imagine in person and sooooo rich in historical events!!! Yeah Europe would astound me!!

I might not return simply because I got lost in history lol 😄✌️

    1. That’s right.
      History is just amazing.

However, if you travel to Europe and see some of those old buildings that are still being used, you’d laugh at the North American ones when you come back.

A German friend of mine once said, “if a dead person from 18th century comes back to life, they can easily find their way thru the city as nothing’s changed!”

Always a pleasure reading your comments! 😊

      1. I am sure – I would be in awe over there!! I can only imagine how phenomenal it is!!!

That is cool… it doesn’t change – I kinda like that … comforting … totally NOT like here lol ✌️

Always love love love your posts!!! ❤️

  4. These are the main reasons I want to travel in Europe. I wonder if I could save money if I flew coach and then stayed in youth hostels. I don’t think I have enough money to stay in a hotel.

  5. I had a dream last night that I was in Europe and so many of those things were in my dreams. “And then in dreaming the clouds methought would open snd show richea ready to drop upon me, that when I waked I cried to dream again.”
