People in Ghana are of African descendants. There ‘s a minority of white people as well, mostly British and everyone in Ghana speaks English.
More than %90 of Ghanaians are Christian and they are quite religious. On Sundays, you’d see them wearing their best clothes, going to the Church.

Ghana’s capital, Accra is modern and flashy, just like any other Western urban area which is a blessing for a West African nation.
Kakum National Park in Ghana
This park was established by the local people, not the government! And it’s one of the very few African National parks with a canopy bridge.
Cape Coast Castle in Ghana
Cape Coast Castle was built by Slave traders. It was built by Portuguese businessmen. It’s a good site to see the slavery history in Africa.
Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park & Mausoleum in Ghana
It is in Downtown Accra (Ghana’s capital) and was dedicated to the prominent Ghanaian President Kwame Nkrumah. The architect made the building looking like the bottom of a sword as a peace symbol, as well as putting a star on top which means unity.
Labadi Beach in Ghana
Ghana has a coastline with beautiful beaches. Labadi Beach is the most famous beach in Ghana as well as the busiest. Some resorts in the area offer private spaces to enjoy if you’re not the crowd’s fan!

I have always admired the serenity and beauty of Ghana. I was totally dissapointed that one of its’ citizens thought the best way to resolve an alleged land dispute was to demolish Nigeria High Comission Staff Quarters.

It was wonderful and quite similar to where I was just next door in RCI. The people were warm and friendly. It didn’t seem that different then to me. Lovely sunny weather, lush coastal scenery, beautiful array of foods in the vibrant markets.
