In recent history, Ecuador was colonized by Spain and became independent during a period but the official date of Ecuador’s independence is August 10th, 1830.

After independence, they’re always trying to improve and become better which has paid off partially, so far as in the Human Freedom Index, Ecuador is mentioned as “Partly free”.

People in Ecuador

Ecuadorian Spanish is believed to be the smoothest and most understandable among all of the dialects and accents. People are friendly and mind their business!
