Recent History of Bangladesh
In recent history, Bangladesh was a part of the British occupied India. When British experts were drawing the borders, based on religion, Bangladesh became East Pakistan and what we know as Pakistan today was West Pakistan. Although both sides were Muslim, their differences were more than what they had in common, so, Bangladesh had to fight for its freedom until they gained it in 1971.
People in Bangladesh
Bangladesh is the world’s third most dense country in the world. Most of them are Muslim with a small percentage of Hindus and Christians. Surprisingly enough, they all get along with each other pretty well.
They speak Bengali and most of them have a good understanding of English.

Cox’s Bazar Beach
This beach is the longest natural sea beach in the world running 150 kilometers (93 mi).
It is the most sought after tourist destination in Bangladesh.
One part of the beach is filled with international dead ships and boats.
Sajekera Valley
Because of the amount of rain they get every year, almost all parts of the country are green. Sajekera valley has a spectacular view to enjoy.
Bengal Tiger
Bangladesh is home to a lot of animals and birds species, like the famous Bengal tiger.
You can book some tours to visit them in person.
St. Martin’s Island
This beautiful island has dreamy white sand beaches with crystal water. There are a lot of hotels on the island, almost for any budget.
Bangladesh Overcrowded Trains
Trains in Bangladesh are overcrowded, people even sit on the top of the roof.
It’s not good to see the lack of basic amenities in a country, but it’s an attraction a lot of tourists are looking for when traveling to Bangladesh.
Traffic in Bangladesh
because of the population, there’s always a heavy traffic on most major streets and there’s almost no rules for drivers! They also don’t pull over when an Ambulance is crossing!

We do have some dense areas ourself – nothing like that though! No way would they allow us to sit on the roof lol … as it is they make kids be in booster seats forever lol
